Tunage...

There are some great songs on Christian radio right now that I just love...here are 3 in particular...I just added them to my playlist so you can listen if you want:

Shadowfeet by Brooke Fraser--I love this one...it's so encouraging!! Here's some of the lyrics:

Fireproof

Last Friday night we got to run out for a quick date to see Fireproof (thanks Papa Dave)! It really was so great--we both enjoyed it so much! You can watch the trailer below...it is the perfect thing to do with your husband if you get the opportunity for a date!!

11 Months!!!!

Could it really be possible that she's about to be a year old? I think someone stole about 6 months one night when I was sleeping. She is into everything right now...she pulls up on anything she can find and cruises a little bit--no steps yet! She still just has 2 little teeth, but continues to be the best eater of the three of them!

This is what I see when I come to get her up in the morning...she is so excited! Someone with a girl help me out on this one--it seems uncomfortable to make her sleep in a bow, but if I don't, this is what she looks like!
I had to take this picture...she constantly crawls over to me and pulls up on my legs...when you're looking down at this sweet face, how can you not pick her up?

Before my Tennessee friends and family disown me, let me explain the AL cheerleading outfit....have no fear, Collier's blood runs orange, but she does love her daddy so she wore this on Saturday to show her support!

Happy Birthday Anderson!!!!

My sweet Anderson turned three years old last Saturday! He's been looking forward to his birthday ever since we had Griffin's party in August, and the big day finally arrived! I think he had a great day...we spent the morning as a family and he got to open some presents. We went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and both sets of grandparents were able to come--he had pizza and an ice cream sundae that he finished all by himself! That afternoon we had his party with friends! His favorite thing in the whole world is trains, so we had a train come and the kids had a great time going for train rides! We were blessed with perfect weather, great friends, and such a sweet little 3 year old!

We've been telling Anderson he could move into Griffin's room when he turned three, so Saturday was the big night! I've always wanted them to be able to share a room as they grow up, but I was a little nervous about the lack of sleep that might result for all of us. So far, things have gone pretty smoothly, and I think the boys are loving it! The first night we gave them this plaque thingy that Michael and I made: We also gave them some knight dress-up gear (Dollar Tree has tons of it right now):
We talked to them about Prov. 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another," and how they can "sharpen" each other. It's been really neat to see them catch on to that...it may have been a little over Anderson's head, but Griffin has really been talking about opportunities to sharpen each other since. I pray that they will have a "brotherly bond" that will continue throughout their lives, and they will learn to sharpen each other to be more like Christ!

Happy Happy Halloween!!!

We had such a busy, fun weekend with Halloween and Anderson's Birthday (pics to come later)! We squeezed in two parties on Halloween night...the first one was at our cousins' house across the street, with all the neighborhood kids! We ate dinner and the kids played around--kids are so cute when they're all playing around dressed up! Then, we headed to our sweet friends the Phillips' to go trick-or-treating with a big group! The boys had a blast running from house to house and both loaded up on more candy than we could eat in a year (it may have to mysteriously begin disappearing before we lose all our teeth)! Griffin has been talking about dressing up like a cowboy for months now, but Anderson had changed his mind several times. We were all set for him to be a train conductor, but as we were getting dressed that night he decided he absolutely had to be a fireman (thankfully we already had the costume from a couple years ago). I hope you all had a great time with your families!!!
