Reading Recommendations...

I've never been a big reader but lately I've been wanting to change that. My memory, or lack thereof, has been a bit alarming, so I decided that reading more might help me get it back. I thought I would pass these titles along in case you're concerned about your memory too or you just actually enjoy reading :)

A Mother's Heart by Jean Fleming

My all time favorite...I read it when Griffin was a baby but it's so good to read at all different stages of parenting, so I just reread it and loved it just as much!

Grace Based Parenting by Tim Kimmel

Pray Big for Your Child by Will Davis, Jr.
I really enjoyed this one--it's not too long and it gives great verses to pray for your children.

What Really Matters at Home by John and Susan Trent, subtitle Eight Crucial Elements for Building Character in Your Family

Okay, I also need to give a major plug for the greatest children's bible--The Jesus Storybook Bible. The subtitle is "Every story whispers His name." Even the Old Testament stories come full circle to Jesus, and they are just told in such an incredible way! I really think every child should have this Bible--I'm a huge fan!!

I read this sweet little book to Collier when I'm putting her to bed, and it has the most beautiful illustrations I've ever seen!

Next on my list are Same Kind of Different As Me and Crazy Love. If any of you have any book suggestions I'd love to hear them...

I am so glad you gave recommendations. I love to know what other people read and what is good. Will add these to my list. I am currently reading (i am really slow) The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen. It has been life changing! If i ever can finish it i will tell more.
