I stopped by Anderson's MDO class on his birthday to bring some cookies for him to share with his class--he was King for the day! With his incredible teacher, Ms Tracy! Collier had fun too :)

Going to the pumpkin patch is one of our favorite things to do as a family each year, but this year we almost didn't get to go! Several weekends in October were just not pumpkin patch weather, including the day we were planning to have Anderson's party there. Thankfully one of the pumpkin patches went until November 1, Anderson's actual birthday, so we were finally able to go! Nana, Poppy, and Grannybee joined us, and since it was after Halloween we were just about the only people there!
Riding these little tractors around was probably the highlight for the boys. Before we went Anderson actually remembered them from the year before and was asking about riding them. Since hardly anyone else was there they were able to ride them all over the place and loved it!

Even Collier got a little ride!
Griffin loved scaling the hay bales.

Even Poppy enjoyed picking out a pumpkin :)

One benefit of having the hayride to ourselves was that the boys could pick any seat they wanted--which was up front where they could keep a close eye on the tractor. It was fascinating to them!
Collier loves dogs!

The sunset was gorgeous!! Can't believe I forgot to take a picture of Grannybee--we were SO glad you joined us and love you so much!!

Anderson is FOUR!!!

He's loving and sensitive, funny and talkative, and so super proud to be four! Anderson's actual birthday is on November 1, and that day he kept asking, "Am I really four?" We had planned a birthday party for him at the pumpkin patch the morning of Halloween, but the weather did not cooperate, so we moved it to the McDonald's playground. He was still really excited about it and I think all the kids had a great time! It was not my shining moment as an organized mom, as I forgot the plates, napkins, candles, lighter, and my camera. I felt like I was scrambling around for most of the party, but thankfully the kids were oblivious to that! Chowing on Happy Meals...delicious!

My precious four year old!!

He requested a dinosaur cake (from the Dinosaur Train show) and Thomas plates and napkins...yes, he still ADORES trains!!! Thankfully Nana and Poppy brought Thomas balloons which made up for me leaving the plates at home.
