Several of you asked me for pictures of the condo I staged...here are a couple of the 1 bedroom unit (I don't have any pictures of the 2 bedroom, but when I get them I'll post them also). I didn't get to pick out paint or anything like that, just furnishings--but it was fun!!!

G's First Soccer Game (and last for now)
Oh, the dangers of boyhood!
That's right, it's been a tough week here. Griffin had an accident on the merry-go-round at church Wednesday night. The dr. thinks he fractured his growth plate, so he has to wear this cast for 2 weeks! It was very painful, but he was super excited to have soccer balls on his cast (since he won't be kicking any in the near future). He can't walk yet, but we're hoping he'll be able to soon. He's been getting lots of love and support, and is in good spirits despite the fact he has to be still all the time now (something he's not at all used to)! I'll keep you posted on his progress, but we're praying when they re-x-ray in 2 weeks he will be able to lose the cast and make a quick recovery! A couple funny quotes from our lovely visit at the pediatric orthopedic:
-We had to wait a long time to see the dr., and after awhile Griffin looked at me and said, "Mommy, I'm gonna die here in this dr's office."
-When the dr. did come in he was really sweet, but of course it was pretty painful for my big man when he was examining his leg. After a few minutes he said, "Mommy, I'm being very patient."
I have of course thought and wanted to say those things in the past...just so funny to hear him verbalize them!

Thank the Lord for movies!!!
This morning as we were finishing up breakfast, Griffin suddenly asked, "Mommy, how did the baby get in your tummy, there's no door?" And of course I replied, "Well, buddy, God put her there." I could see his little mind working, and he said, "But how did God put her there?" And of course I replied, "Do you want to watch a movie?" Ah, yes, parenting at its best!
We love our cousins!!!
We are so blessed to have our cousins, Bryce and Elise, live right across the street! They moved here from Mandeville, LA, just over a year ago. Bryce will be five in November and Elise turned 3 in May, so the four of them are all close enough in age to have a ball! We laugh at how they can have SO much fun doing absolutely nothing! They were playing at our house last week...here's some pictures of the fun!
